Another GRAMMY nomination! I’m happy to announce that Dust-to-Digital's Pictures Of Sound: One Thousand Years Of Educed Audio: 980–1980 has been nominated for Best Historical Album! Congratulations to Patrick Feaster and Lance Ledbetter for putting together such a groundbreaking release. I’m honored to share the nomination with these two. The award ceremony will be held at 1:00 PM, January 26, 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. Thank you Recording Academy for recognizing this project!

2013 Was a Great Year for Good Music

It’s been a busy year here at Osiris Studio! Lots of great records were mastered and are now available for you to listen to and enjoy. More music from Analog Africa including, Orchestre Poly-Rythmo Vol 3: The Skeletal Essences of Afro Funk 1969-1980Afrobeat Airways 2: Return Flight to Ghana 1974-1983 (Osiris Studio is shown on the cover art!), Angola Soundtrack 2 - Hypnosis, Distorsions & Other Sonic Innovations 1969-1978 and a re-master of the incredible Rebita, the first LP ever issued in Angola. Dust-to-Digital put together some amazing compilations this year including, Kassidat: Raw 45s From MoroccoSorrow Come Pass Me Around: A Survey of Rural Black Religious MusicGreek Rhapsody: Instrumental Music From Greece 1905-1956, and they capped the year off with the brilliant Longing for the Past: The 78 RPM Era In Southeast Asia.
